Llandudno – The Gallery Tudno Lodge

Llandudno is a beautiful Welsh town, located on the shores of the sparkling blue Irish Sea. It lies between two limestone headlands, in front of the serene Llandudno Bay. As Llandudno is one of the leading seaside resorts in the United Kingdom, having two beautiful beaches, you will find many hotels there. Most of the hotels in town are located near touristy areas like the promenade and the limestone headlands. However, you will find charming bed and breakfast boutiques in other areas of town, which offer picturesque views of the Welsh countryside and amazing flora.

The Gallery Tudno Lodge

An art gallery may not be the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of a vacation or a date. However, these places can still offer a lot in terms of inspiration, entertainment and challenges. One of the best art galleries in Llandudno is an exquisite local art gallery called The Gallery Tudno Lodge.

The Gallery Tudno Lodge contains more than 180 pieces of artwork, painted by around 40 different local artists, in different styles. These exhibits include paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolours and other media, as well as glass art and woodturnings. All artwork at the Tudno Lodge are for sale, and are priced at reasonable rates. As the art gallery is located on the ground floor of the owner’s home, visitors will experience a warm and friendly home environment when they enter. They will also be served light refreshments.

Today, tourists choose to visit art galleries in increasing numbers, mainly because of their elitist charm. All art galleries have something to offer, whether they are large galleries that exhibit old masters to small specialist art galleries. The Gallery Tudno Lodge is a small art gallery, which specialises in displaying original artworks painted by local artists from Llandudno and other areas along the North Wales Coast. It is situated in a large Victorian villa on Church Walks, a short distance from some of the towns more affordable bed and breakfasts.
